This is a vintage 1960's nightgown and robe peignoir set in beautiful seafoam/mint green.  Made of 100% nylon, the robe has a pearly 3-button front, clean neckline with lace at the 3/4 length sleeve and at the hemline.  The nightgown is sleeveless with a softly gathered sweetheart neckline with a little bow and lace.  None of the lace is up around the neck.  This is a simple sweeping set with room for movement.  It is tagged a size Large but no maker's tag. 

 

There were many textile mills in NC during the 1960's that made and sold sleepwear including but not limited to Gilead, Vanity Fair, Shadowline and Carole.... This set belonged to my late mother.  I can attest to the fact at how comfortable it is to sleep in.
