I believe this may be a souvenir from a US Army Signal Corp reunion. There is an insignia of the signal corps on the trophy and "601" is etched above. The family estate this came from there was a serviceman in the WW2 signal corps on either Greenland or Newfoundland if I recall correctly. I'm assuming this was a gift or a prize at a reunion at some point pre-1970 when that family member passed away. No other markings on the piece. The top edge has like a serrated or scalloped detail. It is discolored on the inside and it does have some love marks from display/storage over the years. But no major dents or other missing piece type damage. About 3 3/16" high x roughly 2 3/4" wide at the handles (2 1/4" across the top). It's either a copper or bronze tone (a bit more pink than gold).
