Proudly presented today is this beautiful Hopi Kachina doll, depicting Aya, the Rattle Kachina. This Racing Kachina overtakes slower runners in the Hopi ceremonial foot races and beats the laggards with his yucca whips. It is astonishing that anyone could run a race in such headgear (and barefoot!). Oddly, this is one of the few Racing Kachinas who also appears in the ceremonial dances. The racing version is the one depicted, and beautifully portrayed in a running stance. This fine example, standing 7 and a half inches tall, is carved by Philbert Polyestewa, of Moencopi, an artist of exceptional skill. Every detail is meticulously carved. It would look great in any Kachina doll collection in the world, especially YOURS. Buy with complete confidence, for as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, i will immediately return the full purchase price, and that includes the return shipping as well. Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and as always, Best Regards, Rich
