No dings or dents. Definitely shows signs of age and usage wear. Vintage patina present and handle shows use wear the most. Wax residue present. All shown clearly in photos. With all that said it continues to be a beautiful substantial piece with a history. Dinning room  table or holiday mantel decor the possibilities are endless.
