The SV48P 102mm f/6.5 Astronomical Telescope has outstanding optics, high-quality mechanical components. Fitted with achromatic glass for good edge-to-edge viewing, fully multi green coated lens maximize light transmission eliminating false color. The 2.5inch Double speed focuser, for smooth operation, great feel and precise adjustability. This is a good telescope provides for astrophotography visual observers or nature watchers.
  • SV48P 102mm telescopes for astronomy are equipped with a 102mm large aperture. When watchers observe the planet or galaxy, it is helpful to enhance the brightness of observation and increase the observation efficiency.
  • The focal ratio of the refractor telescope is f/6.5. Compared with the fast f/4 to f/5 ratio, and slow f/11 to f/15, middle f/6.5 has a wide field of view and is more suitable for observing nebulae and galaxies.

I guess this would be second light on the SvBony SV48P 102MM achromatic telescope. I have image these two targets before, but thought on putting the SV48P 102MM on another test. this time with the fringe killer filter and I must say I'm pretty impressed. I think I found my new grotto OTA. both images are about 5 hours exposure with a very bright moon. M31 exposure were 180 seconds and M42 120 seconds for a total of 5 hours each.
