We think these are the best spark plugs on the market, particularly for reliability.

The W27ESR-U is a colder plug, making it ideal for sustained motorway use and modern performance kits.

For modern performance kits such as the RT 195/225, we only fit W27ESR-U.

The W27ESR-U is a resistor-type plug, making it ideal for use with electronic gadgets and accessories. However, it will also work perfectly well on its own without any equipment requiring a resistor plug.

This is the equivalent of an NGK B9.

For standard 125/150/175/200cc kits, we recommend the W24ESR-U for running in and general town riding.

Recommended plug gaps:

Standard ignitions – 0.45–0.50mm (0.018–0.020")
SIL ignitions – 0.38–0.45mm (0.015–0.018")
Modern ignitions – 0.63–0.76mm (0.025–0.030")
