This is an engineering handout originally done in the plant here in Flint, for an employee meeting on Halloween Day 1969 to familiarize and finalize corporate decisions on the new 1970 Buick GSX--Buick's ultimate answer to high-performance, at least for 1970.  This meeting was to inform and update the entire engineering department, as well as other employees, about this new supercar.  This has 12 pages and the print is not as clear as copies are today, but this is the best that technology 50 years ago could produce.

This is the 2nd one of these I have found, and I've been selling copies of the other one for a while now.  But now it's apparent the other 27 page meeting handout was much earlier than this one.  There IS some repetition in this one that was in the other one, but the majority of the info in this must have been right before the order was given to start production.

If you order both of the 1970 GSX handouts that I have, I will refund $4.00 of your shipping if you had to pay shipping for each of them.

This is a copy of an original copy that was handed out at Buick Engineering here in Flint. The original was 50-year old copy technology. But is completely readable.

I actually have several copies of these, and the original one came from the estate of another Buick engineer at the factory here in Flint.  Oh, did I mention that the whole Buick factory was closed in 1999 and was completely torn down by 2004.

Condition is excellent but is old-technology-copy.   The statistics, options and features and photos are interesting!  According to my books, they only sold 678, 455 GSX's in 1970.  Even though the price was pretty competitive with the other supercars, in retrospect the insurance company had sharpened their knives and were going to work on the American Musclecar.  Only 678 GSX's were sold that year?  I think it was partially because the insurance companies were making sure it would COST you to own one.

We will pack it in a stiff cardboard mailer.  Shipping is $4.50, well wrapped in a stiff mailer.

We guarantee the description of all items we sell.

One customer gave us this feedback:

"The 1970 Buick GSX document was exactly as described, carefully packed and promptly shipped. The 12-page copy represented a good deal. An A+++ transaction with this seller."   1970 Buick GSX 12-Page Meeting Handout at Buick Engineering on Oct 31, 1969
