Yami Island, a remote island in the waters near Japan. Twenty-nine years ago, a mysterious underwater cable cutting incident led to the sudden and unexplained disappearance of all the island's inhabitants. Now, in the present day, people are drawn to the deserted island as if by some unseen force. Non-human entities—the "Shibito" (corpse-people) and a new threat, the "Yamibito" (dark-people)—attack them. This is a horror adventure depicting a desperate battle for survival.
Yamijima is a remote island off the coast of Japan. 29 years ago, the island became deserted overnight, and the ruins of Tori became a deserted island. Where did the islanders go? Time passes without the mystery being solved.
And in the present day, as if guided by something, the people head towards the bird. At midnight, sirens ring out across the island, and the night of the tragedy comes back to life.

The Vision Jack System lets you steal other people's vision and take over theirs. Introducing the "Past Vision" system, which lets you see what a dog sees and past events, and even hijack other people's behaviors.
In addition to the "Shijin," a third entity called the "Yamijin" appears. These more powerful beings are only weak to "light."
Numerous new actions, including crouching and high-speed movement, barehanded attacks, weapon grabbing, and driving.
A survival drama featuring a diverse cast of characters, including Self-Defense Force members who can use heavy weapons and young children.
Difficulty levels can be selected to suit a wide range of users, from beginners to fans of the series.
