CHURCH VINTAGE LOAFERS – BLACK - UK 8.5 – ALTAIR – EXCELLENT CONDITION

A very fine (and very rare) pair of Custom Grade vintage loafers in beautiful black Cornelia calf leather from Church’s. They are in excellent used condition overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). The shoes are in their original box (but it is a bit tatty).

In my opinion, although modern-day Church’s shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago. So, if you can find a pair of vintage Church’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.

But, please remember, these are not new so do not bid on them if you want a pair of completely unmarked shoes – they will cost considerably more !!

Width fitting is ’F’ – which is a ‘standard’ width fitting.

The style is ‘Altair’ – a beautifully stylish loafer – perfect for dressing-up or dressing-down. The shoes were built on the rare 79 Last. This is a very rare design to find – so, you will be unfortunate to meet anyone else wearing the same shoes as you.

The shoes feature Cornelia calf leather uppers, full leather linings and leather soles.
