Prevent catastrophic engine failure!  Permanently seal oil towers in GM 4.8 Gen 4 blocks or any other non-DOD equipped engine such as LS2 6.0. Prevent unexpected loss of oil pressure in case of O-ring failure in valley cover.  This is a MUCH faster and cleaner solution to the common drill and tap method used to safeguard high-revving race engines against sudden oil pressure loss from this area.

QUALITY tapered roller bearing set. Original V1 taper from 7.5mm-8.22mm to create an interference fit by hammer/punch/press into DOD AFM towers. V2 is undersized by 20 thousandths.

WARNING: “Measure twice, cut once”. You will be hammering these plugs into your engine and risk creating debris or metal shavings, and once you start hammering there is no going back! You must drive them in enough to fall below the gasket height, and not contact the cover. NOT responsible for misuse or engine damage, measure oil hole first. Use at your own risk!
