ORIGINAL KATHERINE E GALLAGHER 'BROOKLYN BRIDGE NYC' LIMITED EDITION ETCHING AND AQUATINT

This is a wonderful original.  I was lucky enough to acquire some works from the corporate art collection and museum of the Cigna corp, the major insurance firm.  One of the reasons I like buying corporate art collections is that they are nearly always perfect condition and are also always archival framed in high end materials.  This is one of a couple original New York views I acquired that were done by Katherine E Gallagher.  Surprisingly enough, I was not able to find a complete biography on the artist.  What I did find on a gallery website that sells her work reads: "Katherine E. Gallagher is a listed American graphic artist who was active in the New York art scene in the 1970's to 1980's. Her work there was primarily focused on street scenes within the City."  This is one of her best images from what I have found.  A stunning view of the Brooklyn Bridge and the  New York City skyline with the twin towers.  Image measures 19 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches.  Signed, titled, and numbered in pencil below the image.  Perfect as printed condition.  Archival matte and wood frame are a wonderful presentation and ready to hang.  Frame measures 29 3/4 x 26 1/4 inches.  FREE SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES!
