Hydrosorbent's SG-40 Silica Gel canister prevents rust, mildew, corrosion and spoilage to protect your valuables. Each 40 gram canister can protect up to 3 cubic feet of enclosed space. Perfect for use in small storage areas, such as cases for guns, cameras, telescopes, instruments and tool & tackle boxes.

Blue indicating silica gel (2-3 mm) is sealed within a 2-piece perforated aluminum canister, which will change from blue to pink to indicate moisture absorption. The top of the canister contains a heat resistant mica disc for viewing the color change. At full absorption, the desiccant can be reactivated by heating in a 300°F oven for 3 hours or until the silica gel has turned blue.
