There are many who will mourn the passing of good quality gym knickers of classic style made from the late 60's right through until 2011. Only classics last 50 years, sadly Gymphlex have decided to discontinued manufacture of this item and therefore stocks are limited.

Gymphlex made these traditional gym knickers in two styles. The more common version used for athletics featured two white stripes from waist to leg at each hip. They also made the same knicker (in much smaller numbers) without the two white stripes for both sportswear under a gym skirt and general school classroom wear.

AS THESE ARE A MUCH RARER PRODUCT AND IN A RARE LARGE SIZE THEY ARE PRICED ACCORDINGLY

As with all Gymphlex products the quality was never compromised. They are manufactured from heavy weight (but very stretchy) ICI Bri Nylon (200gsm) material which will wash time and again without colour fade or elastic distress.

The cut is full brief style but shaped better than cheaper imitations rising high to the waist and to the small of the back giving a very comfortable full fit. They have firm elasticated stitched in elastic in the waist and legs.

They have a double gusset in the same nylon material and in the same colour.

This pair is the racy Scarlet Red, 30 inch waist tag but they are extremely stretchy and will fit to a MINIMUM waist of 30 inches easily upto 36 inch waist or A UK women's sizes 14 to 18.

They measure :-

Waist (unstretched) : 24 inches

Waist (Comfortably stretched) : 36 - 38 inches

Waist (Fully stretched) : 40 inches

Depth (waistband to crotch) : 12.75 inches (stretch to 13.75 easily)

Depth (sides waist to leg) : 8 inches

Legs (unstretched) 18 Inches

Legs (Comfortably stretched) approx 26 Inches

Legs (fully Stretched) approx 30 Inches

They are brand new old stock still in their original bag.
