Slim handmade 4mm elastic stretch bead bracelet crafted in natural Howlite gemstone heishi beads with BLACK lampwork glass evil eye beads in your choice of gold or silver plated wire wrap finish. The black 3/4" Mano Negra charm pendant used on this bracelet is authentic Czech glass crystal, not Jet, therefore it will not stain, scratch or streak. As shown in the photos, other styles of this bracelet are available in my shop, including red and blue evil eye designs with silver or gold finish.

AZABACHE: Otherwise known as Jet stone, it is found in the northern coast of Spain. The stone, which shines bright when polished, was a very popular charm from the 16th century when it was highly valued due to the belief around the stone’s spiritual abilities. Naturally occurring Jet is an actual gem from the decomposition of wood from millions of years in the past and can be dated to over 150 million years old. Azabache is magical and protective amulet. Today, the stone is still known to bring good fortune, rid one of negative energy, and protect those who wear it from fear, indecisiveness and the harmful gaze and malevolent stare of the Evil Eye (Mal de Ojo). The power of the stone to absorb the energy dispersed from the Evil Eye is the primary purpose of adorning oneself with an Azabache. Evidence of the Jet shielding the wearer can be seen in reports that it can physically crack into pieces, as is its inherent nature to be a force for defense. New babies will often receive the stone as a birth gift: girls will get a bracelet or earrings; boys, a brooch.
HOWLITE: Howlite, also known as Magnesite is a calming mineral stone that promotes inner peace to awaken one's intuitiveness. t is believed to provide mental clarity, relieve anxiety of the mind and help to process emotional wounds. It acts as a protection against fearful anxious thoughts and aids in combatting insomnia. Howlite encourages the calm expression of emotions through a wise mind. ♡ CARE INSTRUCTIONS ♡
Your stretch bracelet is handcrafted to be strong and lasting, but the elastic, stones, and beads are not eternal. Likewise, almost all metal discolors over time. Therefore, gold and silver plating – known for its beauty and affordability – requires care. You can prolong the finish of your jewelry as well as the vibrancy of your gemstones by following these simple tips:
> DO NOT GET YOUR BRACELET WET ~ Keep your jewelry away from moisture. It is best to remove your bracelet before washing your hands, showering, exercising and swimming since contact with moisture can break down the elastic, ruin finishes and tarnish metals and charms.
> AVOID CONTACT WITH CHEMICALS ~ Perfume, soap, moisturizer, lotion, hand sanitizer or other chemicals can weaken the elastic, harm natural crystals and result in the discoloration and peeling of beads and gemstones. Be careful.
> AVOID HEAT EXPOSURE ~ Leaving your bracelet in sunlight or exposed to heat for an extended period of time may lead to elastic erosion and can cause beads and metal to discolor. Remove your bracelet while exercising.
> ROLL IT ON AND OFF ~ Do not over-stretch your bracelet! It has been made with pre-stretched elastic. Over-stretching it beyond its capacity will cause it to break. To keep from overly stretching it to put it on and off, slide your fingers into the bracelet first, then gently roll the beads over your knuckles and then onto your wrist. Do the same when taking your bracelet off.
> STORE SAFELY ~ Always store your jewelry safely in a soft pouch, soft cloth – or secure in a box or drawer – separate from other jewelry. Never wear your jewelry to bed and remove when sleeping. Use a soft microfiber cloth to polish.
