Product Description

The BBK 4047 is a set of 1-3/4" shorty tuned-length exhaust headers designed for 2014-2018 GM K2XX platform full-size trucks and SUVs equipped with the 5.3L or 6.2L Gen V V8 engine, including the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban, Yukon XL, Cadillac Escalade, and Escalade ESV, as well as the 2019 carryover Silverado 1500 LD and Sierra 1500 Limited models. These headers replace the restrictive factory cast-iron exhaust manifolds with 16-gauge CNC mandrel-bent primary tubes and 3/8" thick laser-cut mounting flanges, delivering an estimated 10-15 horsepower increase through improved exhaust flow and reduced backpressure. The 3-bolt collector flange design connects directly to the factory catalytic converters and is compatible with any factory or aftermarket cat-back exhaust system. Each header is finished in a titanium ceramic coating for superior heat resistance, corrosion protection, and underhood appearance. The set is pressure-tested at the factory to ensure leak-free operation and includes all necessary gaskets and mounting hardware. Factory OEM dome gaskets at the head are reused during installation. Also available in polished silver ceramic finish as part number 40470. These headers are not CARB approved and are not legal for sale or use on emissions-controlled vehicles in California.
