If your older Weber is getting a bit worn-out and either you don't feel like rebuilding it or it's beyond help, or if you just want to upgrade to the more powerful DGES carb - now you can do a quick easy upgrade to a new DGES 38/38 with this great kit from Redline Weber. This kit includes:
 1 x Brand New Genuine Weber DGES 38/38 (electric choke) carburetor.
Redline's in-house machine shop has modified this carburetor by:
a) The fuel bowl is vented (or can be blocked off if not needed)
b) All fuel inlets have been tapped and threaded to give you multiple fuel delivery options.
c) A triangular universal throttle lever has been installed which can be used with multiple applications
d) Float height is set
 1 x Redline Weber Jet Pack
 This jet pack gives you a range of jets to help facilitate tuning to your specific application and tuning instructions are included + FREE REDLINE WEBER TECH HELP! Redline doesn't always ship the jet packs in the plastic box shown so you may or may not get a box with them - if you for sure want the box let us know and we will include one if Redline doesn't.
 1 x 5mm Spacer with Gaskets (may be plastic or phenolic depending on stock)
 Useful if you need to either space the carburetor up for clearance or want to isolate it from the manifold to prevent unwanted heat transfer which can cause vapor locking and other issues. Using the spacer may require longer studs depending on your application (not included).
1 x Redline Weber 1 7/8" tall Chrome Air Filter Assembly
Made specifically for the DGS-series carbs and comes complete with filter, hardware, clips, etc.
With it's two 38mm ports opening at the same time (unlike the 32/36 Progressive Weber), you'll get noticeable horsepower gains and torque earlier in the powerband. You may need to get a fuel pressure regulator (sold separately) as Webers like 3 psi fuel environments.
This is a GENUINE Weber carburetor that's made in Spain!

This kit is specifically an upgrade kit to existing Weber DGV-series or DGS-series carbs and the various imitations out there. It is NOT a direct fit on most engines without an adapter.

This carburetor is not legal for use in California for emissions-controlled vehicles. Be sure to check your local emissions laws before ordering.
