Our pistons are designed based on OE specifications for the Duramax LB7 and LLY engines and include various oversize options.  Please check the specifics below to ensure the correct pistons are ordered. If you have questions, please give us a call.

• STD Pistons x 8 (4 Left Bank, 4 Right Bank)
• STD Ring Sets x 8
• Wrist Pins x 8
• Piston Clips x 16

Please verify the engine before purchasing:

• If the injectors are UNDER the valve cover or the engine is an LLY  and the Pistons do not have a GRAPHITED coating, then use these LB7 Pistons.
• If there is a single CYLINDRICAL EGR Cooler, then the engine is an LLY or LBZ.  Some LLY engines take different pistons.  Please check the year model and if the original pistons have the GRAPHITED COATING.  The GRAPHITED Pistons are our LLY/LBZ/LMM pistons. LMM engines are identified by a single RECTANGULAR EGR Cooler.
• All LML engines are identified by having two EGR Coolers.
