The Bolivia Colonial Carnavari coffee is organically grown and Fair Trade, meaning it was purchased from small-holding farmers at a fair or economically sustainable price. Our particular farmer, Porfirio and his family, have been working very hard during the past two years to renovate their "cafetal" (coffee farm) after the devastating Coffee Rust (La Roya) attacks. Although the work is hard and the hours are long, they are very happy to be living and working in San Ignacio.
