This listing is for a super nice platinum ladies wedding set with 18 karat yellow gold trim. The two-tone engagement ring features seven round brilliant cut natural diamonds, and the set has a plain, platinum shadow band.  This is a very popular style wedding set, and at this price it would be a great buy even if you wanted a different diamond; the head that holds the major diamond can be easily changed by any good jeweler.

The major center diamond measures approximately 3.4 - 3.5 x 2.2 mm with a manufacturer's stated weight of 0.15 carat. This diamond has color graded at I/J (with no to negligible fluorescence), and clarity graded at SI-3 (split I-1/SI-2); it is borderline eye-clean.  We'll call the overall cut fair due to a large table (top facet), thick girdle (edge), and deep pavilion (bottom portion).

The six channel-set side melee diamonds have an estimated and manufacturer's state combined weight of 0.10 carat.  These diamonds have an average color graded at I/J, average clarity graded at I-1/I-2, and are of good overall cut.  Total natural diamond weight of the set is stated at 0.25 carat.

All of the diamonds in this set are bright and pleasing to the eye, and all are 100% natural, earth mined, untreated, and unenhanced.  Natural diamonds have a centuries long history of appreciating in value over time, whereas lab grown diamonds have an undeniable history of costing less and less money every year.  Don't settle for a mass-produced lab grown diamond that lacks the rarity of the diamonds your parents and grandparents had!

This set is by the Arkansas based company, Bobby Wilkerson.  We don't know if they manufactured this set in Arkansas, imported it, or purchased it as a closeout; they do all three.  The set is style number A0186969.  Together, this set is approximately 5 mm wide at the top from outside of the center diamond's prong to outside of the band on the opposite side.  The set weighs 8.9 grams (over $530 just in melt value of the precious metals as we write this)!  The fineness of the platinum is not marked, but it should be AT LEAST 900 (90%) fineness.

Platinum is a premium precious metal that is hypoallergenic, so it's great for sensitive skin.  It also is naturally white, so it never needs to be rhodium plated.  Even though the spot price of platinum is less than that of gold, platinum jewelry typically sells for more than gold because of the fineness of the metal and due to higher manufacturing costs.  The set is currently a finger size 7 but is easily sizable by a good jeweler.

This wedding set was priced at $2,395 in our brick-and-mortar fine jewelry store that closed in 2020.  We are offering it for the very low, closeout, buy it now price of just $1,134.99 and we are including FREE insured priority shipping!  We are including a nice little gift box with a nifty integrated magnetic bow as shown in the images.  This is the only piece we have of this description, so it is first come, first served!

We are also including a certificate of appraisal at the regular selling price to assist you in obtaining insurance coverage on the ring should you wish to do so.  The photo of the appraisal here is redacted due to contractual reasons, but your copy will be fully signed by our Master Graduate Gemologist Appraiser.

Please look over the photos and information carefully.  We are listing this with a return privilege in case we haven't described something correctly, but we really don't want it back since we are now retired and are selling it at a closeout price.   Honestly...please don't ask to return it because of some reason that is already clearly detailed or shown in this very complete listing!  But buy with confidence knowing that we have had 100% positive feedback since joining eBay in 2004 and because our store stocked well-made, quality-inspected jewelry designed for years of problem-free wear.

Thanks for looking!
