Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique 19th Century Ansonia "Huron" Victorian Porcelain Ceramic Mantel Shelf Clock, made by the Ansonia Clock Company New York USA, circa 1882. It has a Beautiful Large Footed White and Purple German Fine China Porcelain Ceramic Case with Purple Floral Flowers With Gold Ribbons and Gold Gilt Accents, Absolutely Stunning!!! The Case is Signed on the Back "Huron". This Has a Porcelain Dial with Arabic Numerals, Signed "Trademark A" and "Manufactured By The Ansonia Clock Co. New York United States Of America". This Clock has an Ansonia Brass Mechanical 8 Day "Time and Strike" Key Wound Movement, which is signed "Ansonia Clock Co. New York USA Patented June 18 1882".  It has a Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime which Strikes Once On The Half Hour and the Correct Amount Of Times On The Hour For the Time. There are 2 Winding Arbors, and It includes a Winding Key and Correct Adjustable Regulator Pendulum. The Clock Measures approx. 10 1/2" Wide x 11 1/2" Tall x 4 1/4" Deep. The Porcelain Case is in Good Original Condition with Some Crazing From Age, As Pictured!!! The Clock is Fully Wound and Strikes Correctly, But Only Ticks Briefly. This Will Need Lube, Cleaning, Service, or Adjustments, Sold As Found. This is Being Sold for Parts, Restoration or Repair with Great Potential!!!
