Seagate IDE ATA HDD HD 40GB model number ST340810A
 works great
Seatools (under Windows 11) tested & freshly zeroed-out (which means that the DRIVE IS NOT FORMATTED, you will NEED to partition and format before the OS will recognize it)

Works perfect.  See photos for testing and all tests passed.

I zeroed out the drive with Seagate Seatools (under Windows 11 using a USB-IDE interface), therefore the drive has NO PARTITIONS OR FORMATTING on it.  You will NEED to go into the "Drive Management" (or FDISK or whatever you use...) to set an MBR, PARTITION, and FORMAT the drive before the OS will recognize it.

I did not partition or format it because I have no idea whether the buyer will want to go with Fat16, Fat32, NTFS, etc.

Drive has 1 jumper on it, currently in the "MASTER" position.

If you have no idea what any of the above old-school jargon means, then this aint for you LoL!
