Carbon Dioxide CO2 E290 food grade disposable gas bottles are used for carbonating fizzy beverages such as soda, mineral water, and beer. CO2 E290 food grade disposable gas bottles are suited to work with the major brands of soda water dispensers and sparkling water systems. CO2 E290 Food grade disposable cylinders are in compliance with the HACCP requirements Reg. EC 852/04 – Reg. EC 178/02 – Legislative Decree 193/07 – Commission Regulation (EU) 231/2012 .
To create the carbonation in soda or beer, carbon dioxide is dissolved in water producing carbonic acid. The carbonation process happens naturally in many fermented products such as beer, but needs to be introduced into soft drinks.
