Special Skeg Tool
35-SS625 safe-skeg a bolt-on steel cover, attaches to the existing lower unit skeg to bring back the original skeg performance, handling, and appearance.
Marine Grade Stainless Steel
Polished finish skeg guard 1.5mm material thickness, made of marine grade stainless steel, excellent material to protect the new skeg that offers more durable, stable structures metal cover.
Installation
Step 1.
Use grit sandpaper for light sanding finish to get rid of rust and sand the edge. Wipe clean the surface, start to install the skeg guard.
Step 2.
Using a hammer, tap the cover into place over the old skeg
check it comes to a proper-fit position.And drill two holes completely through the skeg and the skeg guard hole.
