A simple base that fits the 49mm Strietman Espresso Portafilter found on the model CT2 and other Strietman Machines. You can put a lot of pressure on this if you go for a heavy tamp, and it stays level. It's a darn near perfect fit and catches excess fluid that you can wash out later so it won't stain your counter.

When not in use, it can hold the stock tamper or dosing funnel.
