- Goodreads:  This book on trees by Julia Rogers was originally published in 1917. It has gone through various publishings over the year. The book begins with an introductory overview chapter, titled "The Life of the Trees." This is followed by chapters on the nut trees, water-loving trees, trees with showy flowers and fruits, wild relatives of our orchard trees, the pod-bearing trees, deciduous trees with winged seeds, and the cone-bearing evergreens. The book is nicely illustrated with a combination of black and white glossy plates. This is a classic that is part of the Little Nature Library series..

Condition:  Very Good Condition for this popular novel.  Cover shows tanning on spine with faded gold lettering.  Lettering on front is also faded.  No owner name inside.  Binding/hinges are tight/strong.  Only mild age-tanning to paper, which remains strong/supple.  Interior is clean...no marks, tears, stains, or creases found.  Book has a new extra-heavy removeable PVC wrap.
