All lines connected according to the Kantronics documentation: TxD (2), RxD (3), RTS (4), CTS (5), DTR (20), DSR (6) and DCD (8).

One end of the cable has a DB25 male which connects to the controller. The other end has a USB plug which connects to the PC's USB port. The cable contains a USB to serial converter, so the radio appears as a COM port on the PC.

This cable uses the highly regarded FTDI FT232RL chip which works with all current versions of Windows, MacOS, Android and Linux.

Please note that a CAT cable is not an audio interface for datamodes.
