Gemmy Yellow Apatite & Calcite - Location: Skardu Road Gilgit-Baltistan Pakistan. Miniature (see photo for more details). Here we have an attractive specimen of gemmy yellow colored apatite crystals on a matrix od grayish to white colored calcite crystals. The apatite crystals are sharply formed and ans have a light gemmy yellow color along with a glassy luster. The calcite crystals are sharply formed and basically make up the matrix. The calcite crystals are gemmy to translucent and are a gemmy grayish color (larger crystals) to white and are lustrous.
