Substantial pair of bookends in rustic painted finish - shades of green - moss, olive.

This set appears to be a 20-30 year old painted reproduction style of an older brass design.

Each scrolling leaf set on a black stone (maybe granite?) base.

I suspect the mfg. date may be from the 1990's

Original felt on bottom of both pieces is well intact and clean, but worn a bit around the edges.

An old small sticker remains on the base: Made in India.
