Presentation copy inscribed and signed by the author on the half-title page; Janus Publishing 1998 1st ed, 217pp., text in acceptable condition with small creases to the bottom corners of a number of the pages, rubbing/scuffing/creasing (+ some loss) to the bottom left hand corner of the last blank page & remnants of a label - along with some staining - to the inside of the front cover, crease down the right hand side of the half-title page, staining to the page extremities at the very top and side, staining/rubbing/scuffing to those at the very bottom, edge wear to covers/corners/top & bottom of spine with a large crease (+ rubbing) to the front bottom right hand corner/side, creasing to the front itself, both front & rear have many marks & scratches (rear is also very slightly browned). An acceptable copy. 

 The thoroughly entertaining memoirs of Birkenhead-born Dr George Gerrard who served as a territorial during World War II, attending Cambridge University & was ordained in 1968.
