Our scrubs are exfoliating, but also gentle.
We have experimented many times to develop the perfect recipe that reduces and almost eliminates the greasy feeling you have after using a traditional scrub. As an added bonus, our scrubs are emulsified eliminating the need for stirring!
The scrubs are NOT made from a premixed base and are made at our location in King of Prussia, PA.
Our ingredient list is simple :
- Sugar - The same stuff you put in your coffee
- Olive Oil - Moisturizing and mild
- Apricot Kernel Oil - Helps to keep skin hydrated and softens skin
- Shea Butter - Moisturizing and provides countless other benefits
- Coconut Oil - Multiple benefits
- Emulsifying Wax -- Used to bind the oils and the water
- Stearic Acid -- Natural acid derived from vegetable fats
- Beeswax - Natural wax produced by bees used to help keep the scrub firm
- Optiphen Plus -- A Paraben free and Formaldehyde free preservative. Sugar scrubs need a preservative since they come in contact with water and this is one of the best you can buy!
- Fragrance Oil-- High quality, skin safe fragrance used to provide the scent!
- Mica - Mineral used to provide the color
Since our products are all handmade, some variation in colors, shape, and scent is to be expected.
