What Does It Do?
- Turns your bench grinder into a machine more suitable for buffing
- Extends the shaft of your bench grinder by about 3.5" and allows more room for maneuvering parts while buffing
- Includes cleaning wheels and mounting hardware so you can begin buffing immediately!
How Does It Work?
This kit simply slides onto the existing shaft of your machine and is held in place by set screws.
After mounting the cleaning wheels using the provided hardware, you're ready to start restoring parts! The fine wheel cleans, brightens, and leaves behind a brushed type finish. For smoothing out scratches, scrapes, or casting lines, the coarse wheel is the ticket! Also works great for removal of rust, corrosion, and paint.
There is an option for a right or left side kit. The right side uses a right hand thread and must be mounted on the right side of your machine, while the left side uses a left hand thread and must be used on the left.
Available for machines with a 1/2" (12.7mm), 5/8" (16mm), and 3/4" (19mm) shaft size. Please measure your buffer shaft size before ordering.
This extension is designed to be used for light buffing and sanding, it is not recommended to be used for heavy grinding applications.
