AJ Masthay… hands down one of the finest gig poster printers around.

Known for all The Grateful Dead / Dead & Company/ Jerry Garcia masterpieces.

The quality is incredible.

Perhaps Unfortunately Phish hasn’t signed him up for official gig posters and he does art prints.

It’s a gig poster without the band’s name.

I actually appreciate Masthay’s prints more than 95% of the posters sold inside a Phish show.

These are hand made Linocut Prints of the highest quality.

If he did 2000 of these for a Phish show it would take a couple of months, so it’s a blessing for fans.

Highly Collectible… I’m definitely not alone in appreciation of what AJ does.

Most of his prints have a deckled edge on the bottom… the poster is smashed and ripped instead of cut.

Extra mile effort to make the prints look special.

Masthay is notorious for sloppy / lots of rich ink flying around gig posters.. this is no different.

Printed on Carson Edition Antique White paper. Thick paper with glossy thick, rich, colorful inks.

Ink everywhere… it’s part of the charm.

It’s got some tiny drips at the top right corner.

The bottom has a faint ink drip / smudge and some stray ink in the deckled area.

It’s in Near Mint / Mint Condition.

There are only 125 of these.

This is number 64/125.

It is signed by AJ in pen as well…

Ready to be framed or put away for a slam dunk investment. 

These have been steadily gaining value as people look through their collections and notice the quality blows everything else away.
