A chestnut brown glazed pottery figure of a boar. Of Tang Dynasty.
The protruded neck is in white glaze.
The boar is modeled standing foursquare on rectangular base with head facing forward. The hooves and base are unglazed.
Circa: Age undetermined. Two very similar ones have sold at Sotheby's and Christie's from the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD).
Condition: Very Good. No chips or cracks.
