Volante features three vintage echo machine settings: Drum for magnetic drum echo, Tape for multi-head tape echoes with saturation, and Studio for a clean, pristine reel-to-reel sound. It includes four playback heads with individual controls for volume, feedback circuit inclusion, and panning, allowing for complex rhythmic patterns and stereo effects. The pedal supports loop creation with degradation and reverse play, offering unique and evolving sonic possibilities. Variable head spacing, replicating the quirks of vintage tape machines, is adjustable in real-time.
