This whimsical cheese grater was introduced in 1992 and is no longer offered by Alessi. Open the lid and there is a stainless steel grater that is attatched to the lid with a magnet. Grated cheese can easily be stored inside Mr. Meumeu. One of the horns has been cleverly designed to be used as a spoon.

This cheese grater was purchased in 1994, was rarely used and is in great shape. There has been a color shift with time (see last photo) and the exterior is a bit more yellow than the mint green color of the interior. You would not know there has been a color shift until you compare the exterior with the interior. The color shift is overall and does not appear in patches.
