Pontiac 400-455 BP Head Gaskets (can be used on 350's also) (Set)

Manufactured exclusively for BP from the original Fitzgerald dies used for GM in the 1960's and 1970's. New and improved water hole dimensions designed to leave more gasket material between the water hole and the cylinder.

These head gaskets will crush to approximately .045.

For blocks with no chamfers (valve notches) or blocks with the later style notches in the 9:00 and 3:00 positions

Recommended installation: Spray the metal side lightly with copper coat and let dry about 5 minutes, spray lightly again and let dry. The metal side goes to the block & the composition side goes toward the head. Do not spray the composition side.

Early 1967 400's may have deep 389 style chamfer in block. These require a 19375 head gasket.
