Offered here is this Antique Cast Iron Singer Sewing Machine Base. It is in good condition but it is the base only and there is no pedal or wheel with it. I am unsure of the age of this particular model base. It is made of solid cast iron, and is in good condition, with only some small areas of light surface rust on it. It could easily be cleaned up and painted any color of your choosing. It once was enameled in black, but that finish is all but gone now. The base is 28” tall, 19” wide front to back at the feet, 12” wide front to back at the top where it would be attached to a top and is 22.5” long across from side to side. It is 14” from the “singer” at the center to the top of the frame. It is an amazing relic from around the turn of the Century that could be a nice addition to your antique collection and would be a wonderful restoration project.
