The Injen IS1545P Polished Short Ram Intake is a direct‑fit performance upgrade engineered specifically for 1996–2000 Honda Civic CX, DX, and LX models equipped with the 1.6L inline‑4 engine. This IS Series intake replaces the restrictive factory airbox and stock intake tube with a polished mandrel‑bent aluminum tube and a high‑flow SuperNano‑Web dry air filter to improve airflow into the engine. The enhanced airflow promotes better throttle response, improved acceleration, and a more aggressive induction sound compared to the stock system, all while maintaining safe air‑fuel ratios without requiring additional tuning.
