The M4A3 (76) W HVSS Sherman is a derivative of the third variant of the new generation medium tank M4 (Sherman) series. HVSS was developed to address the issue of the Japanese version of VVSS (Vertical Volute Spring Suspension), which has been installed on all other early and later produced M4 Sherman variants. The M4A3 (76) W was introduced in the update 1.45 "Steel General" and is the ultimate variant of the new generation M4 Sherman.
