DB-15 male to DB9 female, high quality screened (shielded) cable. Length approx 1.5m/4ft 10ins.
With this cable your SPE Expert amplifier is able to determine the exact frequency your transceiver is tuned to. It then automatically switches to the correct band and if the amplifier has an ATU fitted, recalls the appropriate ATU setting from memory.
One end of the cable has a DB-9 female which connects to the transceiver's CAT/COM socket, the other end has a DB-15 male which connects to the CAT connector on the amplifier.
Suits SPE Expert Linear amplifier models 1K-FA, 1.3K-FA, 1.5K-FA, 2K-FA and the following transceivers:
- Yaesu FT-450, FT-991, FT-991A, FT-950, FT-1000MP, FT-1000MP Mk V, FT-1000MP Mk V Field
- Yaesu FTdx10, FTdx101, , FT-dx1200, FT-2000, FT-2000D, FT-dx3000, FT-dx5000, FT-dx9000
- Kenwood TS-480, TS-590, TS-890, TS-990, TS-2000

FT-dx3000: CAT can only be used on USB OR DB9, not both. See Menu item 037 'CAT SELECT'.
FT-991 and FT-991A: DB9 connector needs switching to Cat - Menu item 028 ‘GPS/232C SELECT’For instructions on how to set up the amplifier for your transceiver correctly, please consult your amplifier's manual.
Important: This cable is intended for customers who already have a PTT switching cable and as such only provides frequency information to the amplifier.
