Antique Victorian wax document seal, in its original japanned metal storage tin / case.  It measures approx. 16cm in diameter, and depicts Queen Victoria on the throne to one side, and on horseback to the other.  It has a cut vellum paper tab to the top.  In good overall condition for its age, as per the photos.  There are some edge chips, and a larger section has come away and broken in two, per the last photo.  There is some white powder residue and pitting to the surface, with some loss of definition.  The tin is in good condition, with some staining and white oxidisation to the inner surface.
