This is a Painting by Brian O'Flaherty Ireland's Foremost GAA artist, of the parade on All-Ireland Final day in 1997. Following the famous Artane Boys Band are the Mayo and Kerry teams. The band was formed in 1872, and have entertained Gaelic Games followers in Croke Park for many years. Hill 16 was a sea of green and red as the west descended on Croke Park. On the left side of the picture is the Nally Stand names after the famous Mayo man Patrick William Nally. The stand was dismantled at the end of 2002 and was reconstructed at the GAA grounds of Carrickmore, Co.Tyrone.
Published in a single limited edition of 500 worldwide, each print is individually numbered and signed by Brian O'Flaherty, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
