XH-M603 Battery Charge Controller Protection Module -- 12V/24V with LED Voltage Display

The XH-M603 (HW-632) Battery Charging Control Module is a versatile charge protection board that automatically manages battery charging by monitoring voltage levels. It connects between your DC power source and your battery, starting charging when voltage drops below your set threshold and stopping when it reaches your upper limit -- protecting your battery from overcharging and extending its lifespan.

Works with 12V and 24V battery systems including lead-acid, lithium-ion, lithium polymer, nickel-cadmium, and nickel-metal hydride batteries. The built-in LED display shows real-time battery voltage for easy monitoring.

How It Works

1. Connect a DC input source (solar panel, DC power supply, or battery charger -- 30V max) to the input terminals
2. Connect your battery to the output terminals
3. Set your "Start Voltage" -- the module begins charging when battery voltage drops below this level
4. Set your "Stop Voltage" -- the module stops charging when battery voltage reaches this level
5. The module automatically cycles between charging and standby, protecting your battery from overcharge damage

Quick Setup Guide

Setting your charge thresholds is simple using the 3-button interface on the board:

1. Press SET once -- the display shows the current Start Voltage (charge begins below this level)
2. Use UP/DOWN to adjust, then press SET to confirm
3. The display now shows the Stop Voltage (charge stops at this level)
4. Use UP/DOWN to adjust, then press SET to confirm and return to monitoring mode

Example for a 12V lead-acid battery: Set Start Voltage to ~12.0V and Stop Voltage to ~14.4V. The module will automatically charge when the battery drops below 12V and stop at 14.4V to prevent overcharging.

Important Notes

• This module controls when charging occurs -- it does not regulate charging current or perform cell balancing
• For lithium batteries, a proper BMS (Battery Management System) is still recommended for cell-level protection
• Do not exceed 30V DC input
• Ensure correct polarity when wiring -- reverse polarity can damage the module
