The palm rest sits flat over the tremolo. It has two screws on the back that allow the height to be adjusted according to bridge height and personal preference. This allows the palm rest to lay flush on the guitar just above the tremolo. The hinged unit is fastened into the tremolo studs and moved along with the tremolo during usage. The tremolo bar is still functional since there is a hole in the side allowing for the bar’s installation. If your tremolo posts are not top threaded (M3) to allow the palm rest to be screwed in from the top you will need to purchase a pair of threaded posts The Palm Rest Kit will come with the following:
