American electronic producer Diplo issued his six-track EP California in early 2018. Landing in the Top 100 on the Billboard 200, the set recruited guest vocalists -- mostly young trap rappers -- for each song. Lil Yachty is paired with singer Santigold for the bright "Worry No More," while Desiigner takes center stage on the dramatic "Suicidal." Amping up the emotion on "Look Back," Diplo injects some bluesy rock urgency on the DRAM-starring highlight. Trippie Redd and Lil Xan feature on more upbeat, dance-oriented tracks "Wish" and "Color Blind," respectively. The EP also includes a remix of "Get It Right" with MO and Goldlink. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
