Brue Antique Map Atlas Universel 

 This map is handcolored Plate 21 from Brue's Atlas Universel (de geographie physique, politique, ancienne, & moderne).  This is a large map of Empire d'Autriche (Austria), Prusse de la Confederacion Germanique, du Roy de Pologne.  Depicts mountain ranges, cities, and rivers.  Round 3D stamp upper right below title says "Carte Encyprotipe."  Some foxing, small tears, small stains along outer margin paper.  The artist cartographer was Adrien Hubert Brue, who held the office of Geographe Du Roi. He lived from 1786-1832.  His maps are known for their beauty, clarity, and accuracy. On heavy paper, measures 28" x 20".  Very good condition.  Some small edge tears, foxing in margin area.  In separate listings, I have other Brue maps:  Asia Minor, Russie D'Asie,  Spain & Portugal- I will combine shipping when possible.
