NEEDS CLEANING!

Untested with a camera. This lens was originally uncovered from beneath a mountain of decade+ untouched clutter in a Ziploc bag. This lens is HEAVILY dusty, and requires cleaning—as in beyond the obvious ring of crusty dust you can clearly see in the photos, there are even small spots of dirt or dust smack dab in the middle of the glass, as soon as the front lens cap comes off. That likely doesn’t show in the photos, but it’s there.

I can’t tell if there are scratches on the shutter, itself, or if it’s a design choice. Speaking of the shutter, it twists just fine.

As for the Tiffen adapter, it took a bit of a wrasslin’ to get the thing off—alongside much LOUD, CRINGE-WORTHY SQUEAKING—but the lens body looks good with the ring off…when you don’t consider the very thin presence of accumulated dust haha. The ring also required more of a simple pull up rather than an unscrewing. Maybe that happened after actually touching it after over a decade, so the action became a bit easier. Either way, doing such has loosened the Tiffen adapter—which, still works out as you won’t be pointing solely that ring at subjects, trying to take pictures with that by itself haha.🤣

I’d rather you, the buyer—and the one to give this lens a great new home—to be the select individual to properly clean this lens off and polish it up nicely.
