This is the 1997 Santacruzan Reyna Justica Barbie.  It is one of a limited edition of 1,000 dolls known as the "Queen of Justice".  Barbie wears a sheer white blouse over a fitted sheath with a flared skirt accentuated with teardrop beads and a matching narrow beaded shawl. The Santacruzan series pays tribute to a religious procession that commemorates the mythical finding of Jesus' cross by Saint Helena.  Basically religious in nature, the procession also highlights women dressed in costumes to symbolize Philippine cultural and historical themes.  The women in costume are referred to as "reyna" or "queen".  There are 10 dolls in this series which were produced in quantities of 1,000 to 1,600 per style.  This doll comes in a box in EXCELLENT condition and includes a certificate.  Same day USPS Priority Mail.
