These are a set of two hand blown champagne flutes manufactured by Cristal D'Arques-Durand in France. The pattern is Neptune. The stem and base are cobalt blue and the fluted bowl is clear. These measure 8 3/4" in height, 2" in diameter and hold 6 ounces of your favorite bubbly beverage.

Why Champagne Flutes are Used 

Nucleation, (which is the initial process that occurs in the formation of a crystal from  liquid), in a champagne glass helps form the wine's bubbles; too much surface area allows carbonation to fizzle out quickly. More bubbles create greater texture in the taster's mouth, and a flute's deep bowl allows for greater visual effect of bubbles rising to the top.
