This figure represents the Guizer Jarl from the 2003 Up- Helly-Aa Fire Festival. The Jarl wears the same Helmet, Armour, Shield & Axe each year and this figure can therefore be taken as representative of the various Guizer Jarls over the years.
The sculpture is cast in lead free pewter and is an accurate characterization of the Guizer Jarl (with some artistic license!) from the 2003 Up-Helly-Aa’. He stands approximately 95mm tall, is packaged in a gift box and is only available direct from the designer Scott Blance.
I generally carry a small stock of figures preferring to cast them to order.
